Adetola Abdullateef Adedimeji, also known as Lateef Adedimeji, is a well-known Nigerian actor and filmmaker. He rose to notoriety with his breakthrough performance in Yewande Adekoya’s 2013 film, Kudi Klepto. He was born in the state of Lagos.

Lateef Adedimeji was born in Isolo, Lagos State, in southwestern Nigeria, but he is originally from Abeokuta, Ogun State.
His mother, Kudirat Adedimeji, is a trader from Oyo State, Nigeria.
Lateef Adedimeji attended Ire Akari Primary School in Isolo, Lagos State, and Ilamoye Grammar School in Okota, Lagos, for his primary and secondary school.
He also attended a performing studio workshop at Onikan Lagos State, where he acquired performance training.
He graduated from Olabisi Onabanjo University with a bachelor’s degree in mass communication.

Lateef Adedimeji began his acting career in 2007 after enrolling in a dance school. He, too, began his career as a dancer.
Lateef Adedimeji has been an actor and scriptwriter since he was 15 years old, and has performed in a variety of theatre roles; nevertheless, he formally began acting in 2007 when he joined Orisun TV.
While still in high school, he began acting, and an NGO chose him to represent them as an educator and counselor during an HIV/AIDS campaign.
