Divine Ikubor popularly known as Rema is a Nigerian singer, rapper, composer, and stage performer, He was nurtured in Nigeria’s Edo state’s Benin city, where he was born.
Before D’Prince, the CEO of Jozingworld Records and the younger brother of Don Jazzy, the CEO of Mavins Records, discovered him, he began performing in churches.

Rema was raised in a Christian home, which allowed him to develop his singing talent in churches at a young age.
He received his primary and secondary education at the Ighile network of institutions in the Edo state, He announced on Twitter that he has been accepted into the Nigerian university of Lagos. This is in order to grant his mother’s wish that he obtain a degree

The label was established following the closure of Mo’ Hits Records, a record label managed by the aforementioned producer and D’banj.
Rema has been nominated and awarded in numerous award categories, he got the Next Rated Award on October 19. Zlatan, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, and other nominees were beaten out by Rema for the honor.
